Wagner Ernesto Tejeda-Pena was wanted for fatally shooting Loi Nguyen, age 77, while he was on a walk in Philadelphia on the morning of June 21, CBS Philadelphia reports.
Tejeda-Pena also tried shooting two other victims fifteen minutes before shooting Nguyen but his gun malfunctioned, Boston Police said.
Tejeda-Pena was also wanted in connection with two stabbings in Boston, including a homicide in West Roxbury, and has also threatened family members, police added.
He was arrested in the area of Broadway and Manchester Street in Lawrence around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, Lawrence Police said on Facebook.
Tejeda-Pena has since been charged as a fugitive in connection with the Philadelphia homicide. Hr is also facing two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in connection with the West Roxbury District Court arrest warrants, police added.
